Tiffany Sweitzer – A focus on liveable communities
During his first visit to Adelaide, Fred Hansen identified a desire from South Australia’s development community to learn more from the successes of Portland, Oregon, with regards to transit oriented development and vibrant communities.
Fred recommended a visit by property developer, Tiffany Sweitzer, who has been heavily involved in the creation of the Pearl District neighborhood in Portland, which has become one of the best examples of urban development in the United States.
The outcome of this recommendation is that Ms Sweitzer has come to South Australia to share her experiences, provide master classes and assist our development community on issues regarding liveable communities, transport and high-density developments, all of which feature in the 30-Year Plan for Greater Adelaide.
During her week long visit, Tiffany met with more than 300 people,
