Who is Andrew Fearne
Farmer’s son, economist, academic, writer and advisor to food and wine producers and suppliers globally, Professor Andrew Fearne’s approach to thinking about how food and wine is produced and supplied to consumers has transformed the organisation and behaviour of producers and suppliers around the world into more valuable and sustainable industries.
Drawing on more than twenty years of research into consumer behaviour, food marketing and the operation of supply and value chains, Professor Fearne’s integrated approach has provided a way for many producers and suppliers in the UK, France, Ireland, Slovenia, Germany, North America and South East Asia to add value to their business and build consumer loyalty.
Currently Director of the Centre for Supply Chain Research at the University of Kent, Professor Fearne is also founding editor of the International Journal of Supply Chain Management.
